Abstract:Novel complexes of copper (II), cobalt (II) and nickel (II) with sulphapyridine and aminothiazole were synthesized and characterized using spectral and analytical techniques. The interaction of cobalt (II) complexes with herring sperm DNA has been performed using absorption titration, viscometric measurements and cyclic voltammetry. The protective activity of metal complexes has been carried out using arose gel electrophoresis. The results indicate that cobalt (II) complex bind to DNA via electrostatic or groo… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
