“…TS-1 has also been used to broaden the application of sunlight by coupling with another photocatalyst that responds to visible light. Adepu et al [23] pointed out that TS-1/BiVO 4 displayed better photocatalytic Rhodamine B (RhB) degradation performance under sunlight irradiation. Photocatalytic ability of TS-1 could be enhanced by coupling with BiVO 4 , similar to some other semiconductor photocatalysts [24].…”

“…The absorbances of the collected samples were veried using a Thermo Fisher UV-Visible spectrophotometer. 13 Due to the high-intensity peaks of VO at the same 2q value of TS, the amorphous TS peak could not be found in the PXRD patterns of the VTS catalysts. 38…”

“…7,[10][11][12] Therefore, the development of efficient and recyclable visible light-driven photocatalysts is a current need. [13][14][15][16] Vanadium pentoxide (VO) has unique characteristics; therefore, it is exploited for various applications such as in catalysts, actuators, sensors, photocatalysis, UV-driven reversible switches and lithium-ion electrode materials. [17][18][19][20][21] Recently, Fei et al synthesized VO hollow spheres via a solvothermal method, and the obtained hollow spheres were calcined.…”

“…Second, the agglomeration of the small particles allows for crystal growth [26]. The energy band structure feature is one of the important factors that play an important role in determining the photocatalytic activities of the semiconductor [13]. The optical property of CDC was investigated using UV-Vis technique.…”

“…Among these methods, photodegradation is attracted much attention because it has the ability to decompose and convert a wide range of dangerous contaminants including organic and inorganic compounds into safe by-products [3,11]. In addition, photocatalysis on the surfaces of semiconductors is regarded as one of the efficient and green solutions for solving serious environmental issues [12][13][14]. In this process, electron/hole (e − /h + ) pairs are produced in the conduction (CB) and valance bands (VB) when semiconductor materials are illuminated with light of suitable energy [15].…”
