Synthesis, characterization and use of iron oxide nano particles for antibacterial activity

Abstract: In this decade, the use of nano particles (NPs) against bacterial growth is increasing day by day due to remarkable alternative properties compared to molecular antibiotics. Thus, the use of iron oxide nanoparticles (IONPs) has proven one of the most important transition metals oxide‐based remedy in nanotechnological advances and biological applications due to enriched biocompatibility of iron. In this study synthesis of IONPs was carried out via co‐precipitation method. The crystallographic morphology of the … Show more

“…Similarly, micromorphology of plant materials observed under SEM of various plants groups that is, monocots (Bahadur et al, , ) and other dicotyledon families (Ahmad et al, ). Foliar micromorphology (Ashfaq et al, ; Gul et al, ) and morphology of nanoparticle (Saqib et al, ) have been proved considerably in the correct identification of species.…”

“…In the present study, the anatomical and surface foliar epidermal characters of the leaves and stem of 25 species belong to eight genera Lindelofia , Mattiastrum , Microparacaryum , Paracaryum , cynoglossum , Rindera , Solenanthus , and Trachelanthus of the tribe Cynoglosseae (Boraginaceae) were examined using LM and SEM. The SEM has proven invaluable for observations of the surface morphology of plant material primarily due to the improved depth of field and high resolution, which are inaccessible with the LM (Saqib et al, ). The aim of present study was to find diagnostic features to separate genera and species of the tribe Cynoglosseae species.…”

“…Morphological characteristics of plants are significant for the identification of plant species (Ali, ; Kaplan, ; Ullah et al, 2018) and as well as for the characterization of nanoparticles (Saqib et al, ). Different qualitative and quantitative morphological characteristics of various species are published in different Floras.…”
