Abstract:A solid diglycidylether of bisphenol‐S was prepared. The curing reactions of this resin were studied kinetically by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) using 4,4′‐diaminodiphenylmethane (DDM), 4,4′‐diaminodiphenyl sulfone (DDS) or dicyanodiamide (DICY) as curing agents. The activation energies of the curing reactions range within 60.3–87.6 kJ mol−1. The thermal stability of the cured products was studied by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Using the above compounds, different glass fibre‐reinforced epoxy … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
