“…Table 1 shows its chemical shifts and assignments. The two observed peaks of the solvent clearly match well with the already reported value [19]. The spectrum showed that the 4MLBACH is coordinated with the chloride anion through the protonated NH + 3 group.…”

“…Most of them are synthesized from lepidine and quinaldine directly, for example, salts 1 – 6 (Scheme 4) and 8 – 13 (Scheme 5), whereas some of them require a different initial reagent, such as diphenylamine for the synthesis of salts 7 (Scheme 4) and 14 (Scheme 5). [30, 31, 33–48] …”

“…The solvent signals were observed at 3.386 ppm and 2.508 ppm. 31 The signals observed at 1.362 ppm and 1.155 ppm are due to methyl group protons, and the same for pure 2methyllactic acid was observed at 1.497 ppm. 32 Intermolecular interactions such as O-H…O and O-K…O result in a high electron density near CH 3 protons, creating a shielding effect.…”

“…Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) was used as solvent, and the signal was observed at 39.93 ppm. 31 Table I The signals observed at 27.25 ppm and 27.15 ppm can be attributed to the methyl group carbon atoms (C3, C4, C7, and C8). The signal for the C6 and C2 carbon atoms was observed at 75.55 ppm, and the same for pure 2-methyllactic acid was observed at 72.33 ppm.…”
