Synthesis of Ag@poly Composites with Different Morphologies

Abstract

Ag@poly composites were synthesized by a facile method. The samples were characterized by Scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and Infrared spectroscopy. Different concentrations and the molar ratios of AgNO 3 aqueous solution and PDAAB, as well as the solvent, were used in the synthesis. Different morphologies of treelike structure, polygonal sheets, microrods, microtubes and dendritic nanostructure were obtained. These results indicate that some synthesis parameters, such as concentrations of solutions, mole ratios of raw materials, solvents play important roles in the control of morphology.
