Abstract:A series of bimetallic Pd/Pt truncated nanocube catalysts with similar morphologies and particle sizes but different platinum contents were successfully synthesized using a colloidal method without using any capping agents. Their hydrogenation properties were systematically studied and compared with their monometallic Pd or Pt nanocrystal counterparts. The results of EDX-mapping and line scanning show that platinum was relatively uniformly distributed on the surface of the Pd/Pt bimetallic nanocrystals and was… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
