Synthesis of bis‐heteroaryl piperazine derivatives as potential reverse transcriptase inhibitors

Abstract

Vinylogous analogs of non‐nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors belonging to the bis‐(hetero‐aryl)piperazine (BHAP) series were synthesized by coupling a piperazine derivative with (E)‐propenoyl derivatives of heterocyclic moieties.
