Briefly, 20 µl fresh cultures of P. aeruginosa and MRSA strains (1x 10 7 CFU/ml) were added into 180 µl of increasing concentrations of each compound (0.25–4 mg/ml) in a 96 well sterile polystyrene flat bottom microtitre plate and were incubated without shaking at 37°C for 24 h. After 24 h of incubation, bacterial suspensions from each well were completely decanted and the wells were washed twice with sterile phosphate buffer saline (PBS, 1X) and left for complete air drying.…”
