Synthesis of contoured beam multifeed reflector antenna for optimum coverage

Abstract: A synthesis procedure for realizing contoured beams in multifeed reflector antenna is proposed. The proposed procedure solves the synthesis problem so that the maximum gain and low ripple together with low cross polarization are achieved. To this end, first, the relation between the physical parameters of the antenna and the gain loss over the contour is investigated.
