Synthesis of Ferroelectric Lead Titanate Nanohoneycomb Arrays via Lead Supplement Process

Abstract: Here, we demonstrate a novel process to convert TiO 2 nanotubes into ferroelectric nanohoneycombs, comprised of vertically aligned PbTiO 3 nanotubes. Tube bottom opening process enabled effective infiltration of lead acetate precursor into the nanotubes. Nanohoneycombs, which were converted via additional lead supplement process, showed uniform conversion and well-defined ferroelectric properties with the effective piezoelectric coefficient of approximately 20 pm/V, which was measured by piezoresponse force mi… Show more

“…In acrylic painting, regardless of style and mood, it can be enhanced by a variety of techniques, and because acrylic is water-soluble, many special effects can be designed. It is different from other painting materials, such as oil painting and watercolor [7], which are mostly derived from nature, or some mineral materials, plant materials. Acrylic material is a new type of painting material derived from the development of science and technology, ideas, and technological innovation.…”

“…In recent years, lead titanate (PT) based ceramics become one of the most studied and used ferroelectric materials in both scientific and industrial communities due to its high Curie temperature ( T c ) and low dielectric constant 24,25 , which make PT based ceramic to be a valuable research object 2630 . In this work, lanthanum modified lead titanate ceramics (Pb 1− x La x )Ti 1− x /4 O 3 (PLT100 x , x  = 0.20, 0.24, 0.28, and 0.32, abbreviated as PLT20, PLT24, PLT28 and PLT32 respectively) ceramics are prepared and studied.…”

“…TiO 2 nanotube arrays have gained a lot of interest because their high surface area and effective separation 1 5 for both photo-electrons and photo-holes are attractive for a variety of applications like photocatalysts 6 , 7 , solar cells 8 , 9 , gas sensors, supercapacitors 10 , 11 , and filtering systems 12 . The morphology, length and geometry of the TiO 2 nanotube arrays strongly affect their performance, such as the efficiency of photocatalysis.…”
