Synthesis of Highly Dispersed Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles Through Ultrasonication Assisted by Hydrothermal Treatment: A Novel Approach

Abstract: A novel method for the synthesis of nanocrystalline zinc oxide was developed using zinc acetate, sodium hydroxide, and hexamethylenetetramine through sonication. The identity, structure, and morphology of prepared nanocrystalline zinc oxide was investigated by various techniques such as IR, PSA, SEM, TEM, and XRD. The reaction mechanism was proposed on the basis of available literature and scientific principles. It was proposed that the surfactant hexamethylenetetramine played a dual role. First, it produced a… Show more

“…Rhamnolipid, primarily a crystalline acid, is composed of β-hydroxy fatty acid connected by the carboxyl end to a rhamnose sugar molecule. Rhamnolipids are predominantly produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa and classified as: mono and di-rhamnolipids [6]. The most crucial function of these Rhamnolipids is their capacity to bind insoluble metal ions, oxides, and hydroxides and release them gradually and constantly to plants as required.…”
