Synthesis of imidazo[1,2-c]thiazoles through Pd-catalyzed bicyclization of tert-butyl isonitrile with thioamides

Abstract: We report herein the synthesis of imidazo[1,2-c]thiazoles through a Pd-catalyzed insertion reaction of three isonitrile molecules and cascade bicyclization in a one-pot, two-step process.
