Abstract:Abstract. Cathode materials have been an essential area of research for many decades. In this work, a novel spinel cathode, LiMn 1.9 Ti 0.09 Si0 .01 O 4 was prepared via a combustion method using citric acid as a reductant. The objective is to obtain a pure and single phase cubic structured material. The precursors obtained were annealed at 600, 700 and 800 °C for 24 hours.
