Abstract:The article analyzes Rifat Sverigin’s work “Every Bird Has Its Own Perch” (“Һәр кошның үз куначасы”), which, according to the author’s definition, is an ironic autobiographical elegy, but in form, it is closer to a documentary cycle of memoirs. The book has attracted the readers’ attention due to the true-to-life description of the events and its humor with a dose of irony.
