Abstract:In this study, two formazans were synthesized by coupling cinnamaldehyde phenyl hydrazone obtained by activation of cinnamaldehyde with phenylhydrazone, with diazonium salts of anthranilic acid and sulfonilic acid. The complexes of Co +2 , Ni +2 , Cu 2+ salts of these formazans were also synthesized.
