Synthesis of modified miuraenamides – the Ugi approach

Abstract: Miuraenamides, a group of marine cyclodepsipeptides, closely related to jasplakinolide and geodiamolide are found to accelerate nucleation and polymerization of actin, and therefore interfere with cell division processes, at concentrations in the low nanomolar range.
