Synthesis of monosubstituted thioureas by vapour digestion and mechanochemical amination of thiocarbamoyl benzotriazoles

Abstract: N-monosubstituted thioureas have been rapidly accessed from thiocarbamoyl benzotriazoles by ammonia vapour digestion and solvent-free mechanochemical milling in near-quantitative yields.
