Synthesis of N-substituted pyrido[3,2-b][1,4]benzothiazepin-(11H)-one derivatives by denitrocyclisation reaction

Abstract

A new approach to the synthesis of N substituted pyrido[3,2 b][1,4]benzothiazepin 10(11H) one derivatives from 2 chloro 3 nitropyridine and thiosalicylic acid using denitro cyclisation reaction for the tricycle system formation is proposed.
