Abstract:In this article, four different stable benzaminium salts were synthesized from the one‐pot reaction of oxyacetic acid with aminothiophenol or aminophenol derivatives under Vilsmeier‐Haack conditions in the presence of triethylamine in acetonitrile at reflux. The structure of the new compounds was confirmed based on their spectral data from 1H NMR and 13C NMR and elemental analysis.
