Synthesis of Novel Pyridocarbazoles Analogues of Ellipticine

Abstract: Derivatives of pyrido[3,2-b]carbazole and pyrido[2,3c]carbazole have been synthesized by the Vilsmeier-Haack reaction of N-(carbazol-3-yl)acetamides.
