Abstract

Correlations between ozone and methane, ethane, and oil and gas emissions are high in the north and lower in the south of the study region.• Spatial gradients in correlations and trends in maximum O3 match gradients in modeled oil and gas contributions.• Regression and Bayesian correlation suggest that 67% of O3 from O&G VOCs has been eliminated at northern sites between 2012 and 2019.
