“…The exposure distance constitutes the relaxation time of amphiphilic polymer and its related quantity which absorbed to solvents interlayer or entered into water. Pluronic as an amphiphilic polymer can also agglomerate, reassemble and form a myelin layer when solved in non‐aqueous solvents (especially in chloroform) and contacted with water . Resembling mucilage, the Pluronic myelin is visible by the naked eye and remains stable at room temperature.…”

“…Amongst many methods for attaining a hydrophilized PCL‐based scaffold, bulk blending has shown ease of process, acceptable hydrophilicity in surface and bulk and without any residual chemical reagents when compared to plasma treatment and chemical surface grafting . Polyethylene oxide (PEO)–polypropylene oxide (PPO) copolymer commercially known as Pluronic, with PEO−PPO−PEO configuration, presents good miscibility when blended with most hydrophilic polymers in organic solvents and low leakage in aqueous media and therefore can be a good candidate for achieving hydrophilized scaffold . Electrospinning of linear triblock copolymer styrene‐b‐ethylenebutylene‐b‐styrene with Pluronic F127 was studied and a superhydrophilic mat was achieved.…”

“…The FSEoHP value remains equal for different weight percentages of blended polymers, conveying that fiber surface enrichment of hydrophilic polymer occurred at lower concentrations than 0.5 wt % and the excess amount of the amphiphilic polymer resides in the bulk of the electrospun fibers. Pluronic block copolymers are capable of forming an exclusive micellar conformation, known as myelin, in presence of immiscible solvents . Using the myelin conformation in our previous study, surfactant‐assisted‐water‐exposed (SAWE) novel electrospinning method was proposed, in which water jet was exposed in parallel to polymer solution.…”
