Synthesis, properties, and application of the new nanocatalyst of double layer hydroxides in the one-pot multicomponent synthesis of 2-amino-3-cyanopyridine derivatives

Abstract: A new heterogeneous nanocatalyst LDH@3-chloropyltrimethoxysilane@1,3-benzenedisulfonyl amine@Cu (LDH@TRMS@BDSA@Cu) was synthesized and confirmed by analyzes such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy, energy scattered X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), elemental mapping, X-ray diffraction analysis, heat gravity/heat derivatization (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry. The newly synthesized nanocatalyst effectively catalyzed the reaction between different aryl ald… Show more

“…LDH containing nickel and chromium metals was synthesized through the coprecipitation of Zn(NO 3 ) 2 .6H 2 O and Cr(NO 3 ) 3 .9H 2 O salts in a molar ratio of 2:1 in deionized water. The pH of the solution was raised to 11.5 using a 2 M soda solution, and it was maintained at a temperature of 65 °C for 18 h. Subsequently, the turquoise slurry was filtered using filter paper, washed several times with distilled water, and dried in an oven at a temperature of 60 °C …”

“…Researchers are exploring various methods to improve the catalytic properties of oxide/hydroxide-based multicomponent electrocatalysts, including interface engineering [22][23][24], alloying [25][26][27], doping [28][29][30][31], single-atom catalysts [32][33][34], and the development of phosphides [35,36], sulfides/selenides [37][38][39], and carbides/nitrides [40,41]. These methods aim to enhance the electronic structure, increase conductivity, optimize surface adsorbed species, and reduce energy barriers [42][43][44][45][46]. In particular, according to Sabatier's principle suggesting that a suitable adsorption Gibbs free energy should be optimized for high catalytic activity, it is necessary to investigate multicomponent catalysts possessing extraordinary surface adsorption that is hard to achieve in a single metal-based catalyst.…”

“…Various synthetic methods for magnetized graphene have been proposed, including adding FeCl 3 to a hot mixture of NaOH and diethylene glycol, hydrothermal, ion exchange and subsequent calcination, chemical precipitation, binding Fe 3 O 4 NPs to GO through covalent bonding, and microwave irradiation. Multicomponent reactions with high atom saving, high selectivity, fast and economical are one of the most flexible ways to synthesize heterocyclic compounds with high medicinal and biological capabilities [27][28][29] . In this method, a wide range of products can be synthesized by minimizing waste, cost, time and without separating intermediates.…”
