Synthesis, Structure and Characterization of Adducts of O-Propyldithiocarbonates with Substituted Pyridines

Abstract: A series of six coordinated Ni(II)complexes with general formula [Ni(C 5 H 4 NCl) 2 (S 2 COC 3 H 7 ) 2 ] was synthesized and characterized. All the complexes have 1:2 stoichiometry, are non ionic and paramagnetic in nature. TGA-DTA studies show the formation of NiS as the stable end product of the decomposition.
