Synthesis, Structure and Luminescence of Dy Doped Na0.25K0.25Bi0.5TiO3

Abstract: Bismuth sodium titanate (NBT) is one of the most promising lead-free piezoelectric material suitable to replace widely used lead-based piezoelectric materials. With general formula A+ 0.5Bi3+ 0.5Ti4+O3, where A = Na+ or K+, perovskite structure can crystallise in rhombohedral, cubic or tetragonal phase, depending on temperature and type (content) of monovalent cation.
