“…For example, the introduction of large electronegative fluorine atoms can exhibit short transmission cutoff wavelengths in the ultraviolet (UV) region, such as M 3 B 6 O 11 F 2 ( M = Ba, Sr), K 3 Ba 3 Li 2 Al 4 B 6 O 20 F, Rb 3 Al 3 B 3 O 10 F, K 2 Pb 3 (CO 3 ) 3 F 2 , KSrCO 3 F, RbMgCO 3 F, LiB 6 O 9 F, Li 2 B 6 O 9 F 2 , and Li 2 B 3 O 4 F 3 , etc, are all examples of success. Since the interesting structural chemistry and high performances in practical applications, silicate materials have attracted scientists, Y 2 SiO 5 (YSO), Cs 2 B 4 SiO 9 , α‐SiO 2 , LiGd 9 (SiO 4 ) 6 O 2 , Mg 5 (SiO 4 ) 2 F 2 , and Mg 3 SiO 4 F 2 were found to be good materials. Especially, Cs 2 B 4 SiO 9 has large powder SHG response (about 4.6 times of KDP) and short deep‐UV cutoff edge (below 190 nm).…”
