“…is the reflectance, and k is the extinction coefficient (the imaginary part of complex refractive index). The obvious increase in the refractive index (n) (Figure 5d) due to the magnetic field of 450 mT can be attributed to increasing in polarizability of the material 38 films turn out to be denser, depending on the relation of Clausius-Mossotti. 39 Tauc plot models were applied to explore and investigate the optical band gap energy for P84-PEO copolymer and (PEO-P84)/Ni-NPs nanocomposite films with absence of magnetic field and an applied uniform static magnetic field of 450 mT.…”

“…The increase in the refractive index values as the magnetic field towards the surface increases (Figure 9D) can be attributed to the decrease in the film polarizability due to the driving of NiNPs towards the surface and consequently changing in the NiNPs distribution in the nanocomposite. 32 In addition, driven NiNPs towards the surface leads to an increase in the absorption coefficient and a decrease in the transmitted and reflected light from the nanocomposite films.…”

“…Ajmal and Islam 17 examined the dispersion of nickel ferrite and zinc ferrite in PANI and reported that Ni 0.5 Zn 0.5 Fe 2 O 4 had a high conductivity value in the high frequency band. Henaish et al 18 prepared NiAl‐ferrite/PANI/x (PANI) nanocomposite films ( x = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8) by solution casting method. The results confirm that the formation of spinel ferrite and the inclusion of nano‐sized ferrite particles in the PANI matrix.…”
