System-level modelling of surface acoustic wave strain sensors

Abstract: -Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices may be configured as strain sensors, providing passive, wireless strain measurement in demanding conditions. A key consideration is the modelling of the sensors, enabling different device designs to be considered. These simulations may then be used in system-level models of complete measurement systems.
