Systematic identification of crosstalk and bandwidth upper limit in highly cascaded Mach–Zehnder lattice optical filters

Abstract: Crosstalk among channels in wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) filters must be suppressed to enhance receiver sensitivity in direct-detection-based optical communication systems.
