Systemic Cryptococcosis in a Miniature Schnauzer Dog

Abstract: Background: Cryptococcosis is an important zoonotic disease that occurs worldwide. The disease is caused by a soilborne opportunistic fungus of the genus Cryptococcus, which can also be found in the feces of birds, especially pigeons.
