In the field of dielectric energy storage, achieving the combination of high recoverable energy density (Wrec) and high storage efficiency (η) remains a major challenge. Here, a high‐entropy design in tungsten bronze ceramics is proposed with disordered polarization functional cells, which disrupts the long‐range ferroelectric order into diverse polar nanoregions (PNRs) characterized by composition fluctuation and cation displacement. These PNRs lower the domain‐switching barriers and weaken domain intercoupling, thereby playing a key role in delaying polarization saturation, reducing energy loss, and enhancing the breakdown electric field (Eb). Benefiting from the synergistic effects, at a large Eb of 760 kV cm−1, breakthrough energy storage performance is realized in tungsten bronze ceramics, including a record‐high Wrec of ≈10.6 J cm−3, an ultrahigh η of ≈96.2%, and a record‐high figure of merit of ≈279. These developments, along with superior mechanical properties, stability, and charge–discharge performance, fully demonstrate the feasibility of this strategy for realizing structural‐functional integration in tungsten bronze ceramics.

Considering the large demand for electricity in the era of artificial intelligence and big data, there is an urgent need to explore novel energy storage media with higher energy density and intelligent temperature self‐check functions. High‐entropy (HE) ceramic capacitors are of great significance because of their excellent energy storage efficiency and high power density (PD). However, the contradiction between configurational entropy and polarization in traditional HE systems greatly restrains the increase in energy storage density. Herein, the contradiction is effectively solved by regulating the octahedral tilt and cationic displacement in ABO3‐type perovskite HE ceramics, i.e., (1‐x)[0.6(Bi0.47Na0.47Yb0.03Tm0.01)TiO3‐0.4(Ba0.5Sr0.5)TiO3]‐xSr(Zr0.5Hf0.5)O3 (BNYTT‐BST‐xSZH). Combining the tape‐casting process and cold isostatic pressing, the optimal BNYTT‐BST‐0.06SZH ceramic displays a large recoverable energy storage density (10.46 J cm−3) at 685 kV cm−1 and a high PD (332.88 MW cm−3). More importantly, due to Tm/Yb codoping, abnormal fluorescent negative thermal expansion and excellent real‐time temperature sensing are developed, thus the application of fault detection and warning in high‐voltage transmission line systems is conceptualized. This study provides an effective strategy for enhancing the polarization of energy‐storing HE ceramics and offers a promising material for overcoming the problems of insufficient capacitor density and thermal runaway in terminal communication.

Superior Temperature Sensing and Capacitive Energy‐Storage Performance in Pb‐Free Ceramics

The ultrafast charge/discharge rate and high power density (PD) endow lead‐free dielectric energy storage ceramics (LDESCs) with enormous application potential in electric vehicles. However, their low energy storage density and single energy storage performance (ESP) limit their further development and applicability in rugged environments. Here, through the design of vacancy defects and phase structure regulation, Pb‐free (Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3‐based ceramics with an optimal composition can achieve a large maximum polarization (>44 µC cm−2) under a moderate electric field (410 kV cm−1), resulting in an extremely high recoverable energy storage density (≈6.14 J cm−3), nearly ideal energy storage efficiency (91.32%), a very short time (≈67 ns) to release 90% of the energy, and a high PD (243.57 MW cm−3). More importantly, the energy storage capacities of these ceramics remain stable over a wide temperature range (25–220 °C) and for a wide range of fatigue cycles (1‐106). Additionally, the real‐time temperature sensing performance with high sensitivity (with a relative sensitivity of up to ≈0.04 K−1) in the ceramics is developed based on Yb3+ and Tm3+ codoping, which further supports the potential application of LDESCs to automotive batteries with a temperature monitoring function.
