Abstract:Takotsubo syndrome is a condition that mimics acute coronary syndrome. The exact pathogenesis of the condition is unclear but it tends to occur more frequently in elderly women and a large proportion of cases have acute, former, or chronic neurologic or psychiatric disorders.
