This project aims to develop and implement a verifiable digital certificate system using blockchain technology that can be used by learning institutions to issue academic certificates to students in a secure and fraud-free manner. The system will leverage the capabilities of blockchain technology to create a secure and transparent system for managing academic certificates. The system will be designed using modern frontend frameworks such as React and Tailwind CSS and will be deployed on the Vercel blockchain using smart contracts written in Solidity. The system will be tested and validated using real-world scenarios to ensure that it is operational, secure, and user-friendly. The project will contribute to the development of a secure and transparent system for managing academic certificates, which can help to prevent fraud and enhance the credibility of academic qualifications. The application of this system can be used in various sectors, including education, employment, professional associations, government, and healthcare, to provide a secure, transparent, and cost-effective way of managing digital certificates.

Traditional ways of distributing and verifying academic certificates are not efficient. Certificates are distributed as hard copy. Verifying the integrity of the certificate is a time and resource consuming process. As a result, forged certificates have become common. It is very difficult to differentiate between a real and a forged certificate. Through our system, we intend to make the certificate generation, distribution, and verification process seamless. Any student can enter his or her personal details, academic coursework details, and the university code, and thus submit a certificate request to the university. University admins can verify the certificate requests, and approve or reject the requests as per their policy. Any student or third party could verify the integrity of the certificate by entering the details of the certificate under scrutiny into the system. Data required to verify the integrity of the certificate will be stored on a blockchain. All verification data will be stored on the blockchain, so it will be tamper proof. This eliminates or limits the case of forged certificates to a large extend.

The educational industry is being integrated with technology and it has raised various challenges in maintaining the documents of academic details for each candidate in a longer period. The individual seeks higher education or recruiting for any industry then the verification of documents holding academic details is essential as well as to provide a reliable solution to avoid any academic fraud. Thus verification of certificates is done by blockchain in a completely decentralized transparent manner. Hyperledger Indy provides a digital identity that is rooted in blockchain for all records involved in the verification process. Records used for verification must not hold any anomalies to provide accurate data. Detecting anomalies is essential and increases the efficiency of the system. In this paper, an anomaly detection model is proposed for academic records data using deep learning by Keras on the top of the TensorFlow. Experimentation involves deep learning algorithms using the facial recognition model specifying some features like image size, facial weight, and width processing time all that are considered. The test results show that the proposed system model provides high performance, with high efficiency and low cost includes the minimum amount of processing time. By detecting, the anomalies using ML algorithms assure the trustworthiness of the documents involved with more transparent transactions.
