Tannic acid promotes the activation of persulfate with Fe(ii) for highly efficient trichloroethylene removal

Abstract: Due to the Fe-TA chelation and the reducibility of tannic acid, the concentration of Fe(ii) was effectively regulated and slowly released during the removal process to activate persulfate for continuously releasing reactive species.
