Abstract:The great saphenous vein is the optimal conduit for infrapopliteal bypass surgery in chronic limb-threatening ischemia. A prosthetic bypass graft is an acceptable option when the autologous vein is unavailable and the anatomy is not favorable for endovascular therapy.
