“…Later, it was recognized in other occurrences, chiefly from granitic pegmatites of the NYF [Niobium-Yttrium-Fluorine; in the sense of Č erný (1991)] type: the Å skagen pegmatite quarry, Sweden (Sjö gren, 1906;Kristiansen, 1993;Š koda et al, 2012); the Evje-Iveland pegmatite district of southern Norway (Schetelig, 193l;Bjørlykke, 1939;Griffin et al, 1979); the Pyörönmaa pegmatite, Finland (Vorma et al, 1966); the White Cloud and Snowflake pegmatites, Cripple Creek, Colorado, USA (Adams et al, 1962;Adams and Sharp, 1972); the Guy Hazen claim, Arizona, USA (Fitzpatrick and Pabst, 1986); Suishoyama, Iizaka, Kofu, Nosen, Ryoke and Hiroshima, Japan (Nagashima and Kato, 1966;Minakawa et al, 1999). Thalénite-(Y) is also mentioned from the Verkhnee Espe alkaline granite deposit, Akjailyautas Mountains, Kazakhstan (Stepanov et al, 2012) and from the La Cabrera pluton, Spain (González del Tánago et al, 2006) but without any structural or chemical data. Kozireva et al (2004) reported extraordinary light REE (LREE)-to medium REE (MREE)-rich thalénite-(Y) from the Maldynyrd Range, Prepolar Urals, Russia.…”
