Abstract: Immunotherapy targeting immune checkpoints (ICPs), such as programmed death‐ligand‐1 (PD‐L1), is used as a treatment option for advanced or metastatic non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, overall response rate to anti‐PD‐L1 treatment is limited due to antigen heterogeneity and the immune‐suppressive tumor microenvironment.
