Abstract: Cancer stem cells (CSCs), or tumor-initiating cells (TICs), are small subpopulations (0.0001–0.1%) of cancer cells that are crucial for cancer relapse and therapy resistance. The elimination of each CSC is essential for achieving long-term remission.
