Abstract: Pancreatic cancer, one of the deadliest cancers with the lowest 5-year survival rate, often develops resistance to gemcitabine-based chemotherapies. The hypovascular nature of pancreatic tumors forces cancer cells to adapt to nutrient-depleted tumor microenvironments.
