TCPS controller design using Fuzzy Logic Controller for power system stability enhancement

Abstract: In this paper, a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) is proposed for Thyristor Controlled Phase Shifter (TCPS) to improve power system dynamic performance. The FLC has been designed for the TCPS which is located at the terminal of the generator in order to damp the Low Frequency Oscillations (LFO).
