TCT-72 Short and medium-term clinical outcome of amphilimus polymer-free drug-eluting stent in diabetic patients: An all-comers multicenter spanish registry. (Control-8 registry)

Abstract: BACKGROUND In an attempt to overcome unwanted late effects with first generation DES, DES with biodegradable polymers (BP) or more biocompatible durable polymers (DP) have been developed. The LEADERS trial was the first to show that the concept of BP significantly reduced very late stent thrombosis compared to first generation DES. Up to now, little is known about real long-term comparison between BP coated DES and second generation DP coated DES.
