TD-3 System: Microwave Generator

Abstract: The TD-3 microwave generator furnishes all of the heal oscillator power used in a TD-3 transmitter-receiver bay. It delivers an output power of 0.6W at a frequency which can be adjusted to any one of 17 frequencies. In designing the generator special emphasis was placed on reliability, ease of tuning, and on obtaining a carrier with high spectral purity and frequency stability.
