Tea Consumption, Alcohol Drinking and Physical Activity Associations with Breast Cancer Risk among Chinese Females: a Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Interestingly, analysis by type of activity revealed significant protective effects for women who reported the highest levels of walking for shopping (OR=0.58, 95%CI 0.38-0.88) (Sangrajrang et al, 2013), the authors concluded that recreational PA has protective effects and the primary prevention of breast cancer should be promoted in an integrated manner including engagement of women in PA. Also Gao et al (2013) confirmed the previous findings regarding PA and breast cancer risk reduction, they have found an inverse association between regular PA and breast cancer risk, physical activities are significantly associated with a decreased risk of breast cancer in Chinese females (Gao et al, 2013).
