Teacher quality and student skill acquisition. An analysis based on PIRLS-2011 outcomes

Abstract: He is currently coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Educational Policies GIPE-IGEP. Previous Head of the Council of the Educational System Evaluation (Catalonia). His main research interests are the economics of education, educational policies evaluation, equity issues in education, and economics of the welfare state.
