<p class="abstrak">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android dengan kelas siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran konvesional pada materi Himpunan di kelas VII MTs Assalafiyyah Mlangi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Assalafiyyah putri tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 yang terdiri dari 50 siswa dengan rincian 25 siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan 25 siswa pada kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan sebagai data hasil belajar siswa adalah dengan menggunakan soal test kemampuan yaitu berupa soal tes kemampuan pre-test dan post-test. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t satu pihak (one tail test) dengan jenis Independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android dengan pendekatan matematik realistik terhadap hasil belajar materi himpunan siswa kelas VII MTs Assalafiyyah, dimana hasil t hitung = 5,543 lebih besar dari t tabel = 1,677. Serta rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar kelas kontrol setelah diberikannya perlakuan, dimana rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 76 dan kelas kontrol hanya sebesar 63.</p>

Statistics learning in the time of distance education makes students uneasy due to the difficulties in the learning environment and processes. This article aims to analyze the level of difficulty faced by students in statistics distance education and captures the causal factors affecting it. Cross-sectional secondary data were used from a current study in literature and described by standard statistical measures. The study utilized the level of difficulty in learning statistics during online setup as the dependent variable in the form of a scale of 1 to 10. The study used standard descriptive measures. Moreover, this study also use quantile regression models were constructed. Results depicted that students were facing "difficulty" as they learn statistics during distance education. The quantile regression revealed that the learning environment, inaccessible places (rural areas), and more family members are the statistically significant factors that influence the difficulty level in learning statistics online. This implies that due to the distractive place of learning, students cannot focus and penetrate their lessons. In addition, students were struggling with communication technology and internet access wherein it is vital in classroom engagement and the acquisition of learning resources. Hence, the study suggests that students must be supported by the government in regard to their learning needs and teachers must promote a positive and interesting educational environment. Furthermore, teachers must undergo training and workshops on how to be equipped in teaching statistics online.

Statistical literacy is a primary need for primary students as to skills in interpreting statistical data, and analyzing and solving statistical problems in the 21st century. However, statistical literacy for primary students is still inadequate. Moreover, there is still a lack of treffinger learning literature on statistical literacy for primary students. The aims of this study are to analyses the effect of treffinger learning on enhancing the statistical literacy of primary students. This study is quantitative study employs an experimental method and a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of this study are involving 40 students of class VI primary schools which divided into two groups. The experimental group is a class that follows mathematics learning using treffinger learning, while the control group is a class that uses conventional learning. SLT is use in determining statistical literacy level. The result of study found that overall average N-Gain results in both classes indicate achievement and enhancing statistical literacy through differences in SLS on medium criteria (0.3 ≤ g ≤ 0.7). When conducting the Wilcoxon test, it indicates 0.000 is less than the significance threshold of 0.05, so there is a difference in the average of the two classes, which means that the implementation of treffinger learning affects the statistical literacy of primary students. Hence, treffinger learning can enhance the statistical literacy of primary students.
