Introduction In view of the opioid epidemic and increasing caution surrounding prescription of opioids, addressing the competence of opioid management is important. There is minimal structured opioid education in Singapore. Online opioid education modules are available but lack real-time input, concise objectives, and program evaluation. This pilot online, modular, blended program aimed to efficiently instruct novice doctors on safe and appropriate practical opioid prescribing, optimizing its role in multimodal pain management while minimizing risks to patients and public health. Methods The Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model was used. A multidisciplinary team developed the interactive blended program, “Comprehensive Opioid Management in Pain (COMP)”, consisting of three online modules, one case-based discussion (CBD) session, pre- and post-program evaluations. The program was designed to be concise, clinically relevant and engaging to maximize application of knowledge in clinically deficient areas. All junior anesthetists across Singhealth were invited to participate. We analyzed all self-reported and objective scores, as well as program feedback. Results 33 participants completed the online modules. Despite the moderate to high level of baseline self-reported confidence and competency scores, median scores for all variables increased post-program from pre-program. There was unanimous agreement on the relevance and utility of the training program. Conclusion This pilot achieved the aims of improving the knowledge and confidence levels of opioid management in novice doctors. Participants particularly enjoyed the succinct and interactive features of COMP. Further extension with modules focusing on opioid diversion and its use in high-risk populations would benefit intermediate learners.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan seberapa besar pengaruh media pembelajaran e-book interaktif terhadap hasil belajar passing sepak bola siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 39 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre experimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 29 diambil dari siswa kelas VIII G SMPN 39 Surabaya. Hasil melalui tes pengetahuan berupa soal essay dan tes praktik keterampilan passing didapatkan rata-rata pretest ke posttest pengetahuan yaitu 62,27 dan pada keterampilan yaitu 70,67. Uji Paired Sample T-Test yang diperoleh yaitu nilai Sig. (2-tailed) pengetahuan sebesar 0,000 dan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) keterampilan sebesar 0,000. Dikatakan ada pengaruh apabila nilai sig. kurang dari 0,05, apabila lebih dari 0,05 maka dikatakan tidak terdapat pengaruh. Hal ini berarti nilai sig < 0,05 yang diperoleh dari hasil uji Paired Sample T-Test dapat dikatakan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan media e-book interaktif terhadap hasil belajar passing sepak bola siswa.

This study aims to explore the use of the Elimination and Choice Expressing Reality (ELECTRE) method for selecting and evaluating online courses. The pairwise comparison method determined a set of criteria and weights, including course quality, instructor experience, accreditation, student engagement, flexibility, technical support, and cost. The study used a mixed-methods approach, which means it combines quantitative and qualitative data. The ELECTRE method was then applied to rank five online courses based on their suitability for the participants' needs and expectations. The concordance and discordance indices were calculated for each course, and the net flow was used to determine the ranking. The results showed that the ELECTRE method can be a useful tool for participants in choosing and evaluating online courses based on a set of tailored criteria and weights. Future research could investigate how the results of the ELECTRE method can be combined with other methods to enhance the accuracy and validity of the ranking. Overall, the ELECTRE method provides a useful framework for participants to decide which online course is best suited to their individual preferences and goals.
