Teaching and Living Steinbeck's Stories

Abstract: The experiences of three master teachers highlight the significance The Grapes of Wrath still has for students. Together, they show that the privilege of teaching literature is a true gift. At a time when Steinbeck's works can be seen on stage or on Instagram photos with James Franco, or in the music of various bands such as Mumford and Sons, or even on a Google noodle, somewhere in the pages of California.
