Teaching Serial with Shakespeare: Using Rhetoric to Resist

Abstract: This chapter brings the wildly popular 2014 podcast Serial into conversation with Shakespearean tragedy (Romeo and Juliet; Othello) and problem comedy (Measure for Measure) through the unexpected lens of Aristotelian rhetoric.
