Abstract: BackgroundLinear attenuation coefficients (LACs) in positron emission tomography combined with computed tomography (PET/CT) are derived from CT scans that utilize energy‐integrating detectors (EID‐CT). These LACs are inaccurate when iodine contrast has been injected.
